Early morning begin the panoramic drive northwest through the famous Luwero Triangle, visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, then drive to Masindi Town for lunch and later drive to Murchison Falls National Park. DAY 3: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Early morning game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile. Your guide will help you spot elephant, lion, cape buffalo, Roth child’s giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, bohor reed buck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. After lunch, go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just few of meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron’, marvel at the toothsome hippos, home of crocodiles and over the 17km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob. This is also the zone of many birds, species like goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. After taking shorts of the photogenic Murchison Falls, return to your Lodge. DAY 4: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK – KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK (441) KMS

After your morning breakfast drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside and pass traditional homesteads and farms. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon. The drive takes approximately 8 hours. Dinner and overnight at Crater Safari Lodge.

The lodge comprises of seven ultra-luxurious double/twin cottages and two larger cottages each with two rooms to sleep up to four. These family cottages are ideal for larger groups or families. All the cottages have en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water as well as solar lighting, internet access, individually designed furniture and stunning scenery around Lake Nyinabulitwa.Amenities at the lodge include a restaurant, bar, lounge, crafts shop, mobile spa facility and campfire area overlooking the Crater Lake.

Day 5: KIBALE – SEMLIKI NP

Depart early after breakfast for the hot springs and crown the day in the pygmy villages

located near the Ituri Rainforest. The visit to the villages has proven to be an interesting

cultural experience. The guide will have lunch arranged for you to be served as a picnic while you experience the “real Africa”. DAY 6: KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast we visit Kibale Forest National Park, which is reputed to have the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. The most famous of its 13 species is the Chimpanzee, our closest relative. Kibale 1450 Chimpanzee represent Uganda’s largest population of this endangered primate. Kibale is also a home to the rare I’Hoest’s monkey. Other primates include the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Olive baboon to mention but a few. So you will enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys and many others. After lunch we explore the Crater Lake region, which has many crater lakes. DAY 7: KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK -QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

After your morning breakfast, you will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park the second largest national park in the country following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range. As you go through the game park you might spot some animals. After lunch enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos. This launch/cruise offers and excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colourful and stupendous, with well over 550 resident species.
