Day 1: Arrival in Kigali & City Tour

  • Arrival at Kigali International Airport and transfer to hotel
  • Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial for historical insight
  • Optional stops at local craft markets or Inema Arts Center
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Kigali

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park & Cultural Visit

Day 1: Transfer & Afternoon Game Drive

  • Depart from Kigali and drive to Akagera National Park (approx. 2.5–3 hours).
  • Arrive at the park, check in at your lodge, and have lunch.
  • Afternoon game drive in the southern sector—spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly lions.
  • Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Safari & Boat Cruise

  • Early morning game drive for the best chance to see predators and rhinos.
  • Breakfast at the lodge or packed breakfast in the bush.
  • Mid-morning boat safari on Lake Ihema—view hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.
  • Return for lunch and drive back to Kigali, arriving in the afternoon.
